What is the formula of the conference?
Two simultaneous presentation sessions will be conducted in two rooms of the venue. Each presentation lasts max. 10 minutes and it is not followed by a Q&A session. Conference attendees, therefore, are welcome to move around the venue, change rooms and meet for discussions in the lobby, especially during coffee breaks.
Is there a entry fee?
There is no entry fee, but it is necessary to register (on the main conference website: copycamp.pl), both in the case of Open Call speakers and participants of the conference.
Will there be Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can bring your device and use the Internet during the conference.
Will the conference be recorded?
Yes, all pesentations will be recorded and the materials will be published on the copycamp.pl website under the CC BY-SA licence – subject to speakers’ approval.
Will the conference be streamed online?
Yes, all presentations will be streamed online via the copycamp.pl website via Google Hangouts.
In what langauges can I give my presentation?
Presentations can be given in Polish or English. Organisers ensure simultaneous interpretation of all sessions in both conference rooms.
Can I use my computer to give my presentation?
Unfortunately not. In order to ensure the flawless course of the conference and avoid technical issues, all presentations will be rendered on the Organisers’ computers. Visual materials (slides) should be provided according to the given time schedule for us to be able to verify compatibility of used technologies with our equipment.
How to prepare a presentation?
Please provide your presentation in both the .pdf format and the editable format such as .odp (Libre/Open Office) or .ppt (PowerPoint). Graphics, photographs, films or music used in your presentation – if you are not the author – should be available under free licences. They can be found on websites such as flickr.com, pixabay.com, catalog.loc.gov, Wikipedia, etc. or searched via Google/Yahoo. Photos used in your presentation should at least 1000 px in one dimension. One slide should not contain more than 5 sentences/250 characters. Font size: min. 30. Presentations should be in the 16:9 format.

How is the selection made?
All proposals will be reviewed by the jury. Speakers will be informed of the Open Call results by e-mail.
How to submit a Proposal?
Register on the copycamp.pl wesbite by filling in the Open Call registration form.
Do organisers cover travel and accommodation expenses?
Unfortunately, the organisers are not capable of covering expenses related with Open Call speakers’ participation in the CopyCamp conference.
